creating this page for you. There are several ways to do this…… you will use
the same measurer that the seamstress use when they make clothes. Yes, the same
thing.
Where can I
get it?
You can get
this anywhere! Yes anywhere. Walmart sell them. Dollar general sell them. Hobby
lobby sell them and plenty other places. It does not have to be expensive. Use this link to see Walmart brand. stroll down a bit.....
How do I do it myself?
You can have
someone do the measurements or you can di it yourself. Its not that difficult. Click here to see my YouTube video. You
will use the inches side to get the measurements. Women range from 6.0-8.5. Just
take a picture of the measurements while its on the arm.
What do I do with these measurements?
If and when
you order, you will provide the picture to Lanetta or Lesa. This will let us
know your size. Please keep in mind the measurements are needed, the type of
piece you want to order along with your payment will complete your order.
Customers are always asking about birthstones. I use Swarovski Crystals. The crystals I use from the line has other colors behind them. They will not appear to be the actual stone color. The pre-made jewelry that I make now I am staying always from so many colors. Please refer to the chart below for information. Please note: I am doing custom made orders upon your request. Gold-filled is a United States layered gold product that is gaining popularity throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe. It is a quality material that is common in all types of jewelry. The product is easy to care for and will usually maintain its golden shine for a lifetime. Gold-filled is constructed in two or three layers. The core metal is jewelers’ brass. A gold alloy is then bonded to one or both surfaces of the brass core with heat and pressure. Unlike plated (aka electroplated or "dipped") metals, Gold-filled is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight. This 5% is then described by the karatage of the gold alloy. Our Gold-filled items are 14kt gold-filled. 14k Gold-filled products are identified as 14/20 Gold-filled; alternatively, 14kt Gold-Filled is also acceptable.
The Difference Between Gold-Filled and Solid Gold
Solid gold is an alloy that is described with the karatage of pure gold. Pure gold is 24kt. However, it is much too soft to hold its shape or wear well. Therefore, it is mixed or alloyed with other metals to make it harder and easier to work with. Karatage refers to the alloy’s purity. For example, 8 karat gold is 8/24 pure gold or 33.3% pure. Gold-filled is not the same as solid gold. It is a layered alternative product. The gold-filled karatage only refers to the gold layers that compose 5% of the product on the surface.
Care and Cleaning Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or "dipped" products. Nor does it tarnish as readily as silver. Many owners find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water. Hot weather and water will not damage the material.

Above is the sizer we
use to measure the wrist or ankles. You can size yourself. This is the same thing
that seamstress use. In the event Lesa or Leasah do the sizing for you, these
two ladies work however they are happy to do the sizing. You may have to go to
a location in which they indicate in conversation with you. At least 2
Saturdays in the month I am in Columbus at Dunkin Donut Macon Road. I am more
than happy to size you as well.
